Hi, I’m JaNeen,

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist with a heart for helping couples restore their relationship. I believe in a holistic approach that addresses mind, body, and spirit. I draw from various therapeutic models to tailor treatment to meet the specific needs of each couple. I provide the tools to communicate in a clear and healthy way, making conversations productive not destructive.

My Background

I earned my MBA from Florida A&M University’s School of Business and Industry. After several years as an accountant in corporate America, I found myself more interested in and passionate about, the people behind the numbers. I walked away from that corporate job and followed my passion. I earned a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University.

My clinical work at Point University and Hope Counseling Center propelled me to serve clients in my private practices where I act as a conduit of healing, guiding people as they process their past and heal for their future.

My Treatment Focus

I have a passion for, and specialize in, working with couples. I have walked with various families through the affair recovery process to rebuild trust, intimacy, and connection. My individual, one-on-one sessions also provide a safe and supportive environment where you can explore personal challenges, uncover insights, and develop effective coping strategies, helping you learn how to live the joyous life you truly deserve.

My style has been described by clients as warm, engaging, direct, and effective. I believe that my life’s calling is to be a conduit of God’s healing. I work to build an authentic, trusting relationships, while bringing warmth, optimism, and healing into practice.
